This LeatherBoss checkbook cover is made of soft and flexible leather, and it is reasonably priced. It comes in a pretty brown color, although some reviewers have noted that it appears slightly redder than expected. Despite its reasonable price, some customers have described it as "sturdy" and of good quality. There is a slot on the left side that can be used for side tear (or top tear) checks, and there is a place to put a check register. Additionally, the checkbook cover has dimensions of 6 and 9/16 inches by 3 and 1/2 inches when closed and 6 and 9/16 inches by 7 and 1/4 inches when opened. The thickness when closed is 3/8ths of an inch. However, some reviewers have mentioned that the checkbook cover is a bit tight, making it difficult and uncomfortable to insert check blanks. Others have reported that the back card part had to be trimmed down slightly to slide in the checkbook without crinkling it. Therefore, while it feels very nice, the pocket can be a bit shy, possibly by as much as 1-2 cm, which is why some reviewers have not been happy with it.
