Namco Games Editorial Review
** Ghost Hunter** Ghost Hunter has emerged as a standout title among its peers, often flying under the radar despite receiving numerous accolades from those who have experienced it. With a vibrant cast led by the talented Rob Paulsen as Lazarus Jones, the game's characters undoubtedly leave a mark, enhancing the immersive gameplay experience. The game presents a captivating and well-crafted storyline that keeps players engaged from start to finish, demonstrating an impressive level of polish for a game from the PS2 era. Many reviews highlight the game's delightful graphics, which continue to impress and showcase a successful balance of aesthetics and gameplay. The unique premise likening it to a blend of Ghostbusters and Luigi’s Mansion further elevates its appeal, with overall positive commentary regarding the fun factor and the engaging soundtrack. Players have noted that while the game offers a more action-oriented approach rather than pure horror, it retains enough supernatural elements to remain entertaining. However, not all assessments have been overwhelmingly positive; there are mixed feelings regarding the gameplay experience. Some users found the game repetitive and ultimately underwhelming, especially if they were fans of more traditional survival horror titles. Others noted that while the game has plenty of heart and charm, it could fall short in terms of originality and depth, leading to less favorable ratings. In conclusion, Ghost Hunter is a beloved gem for many who value nostalgic gameplay and engaging storytelling within a supernatural framework. While it may not cater to all audiences, its graphical prowess and entertaining sessions warrant it a spot in gaming history as one of the overlooked treasures of the PS2 library. **
