- Nitto P-50 Multi-Purpose Double-Sided Cloth Carpet Tape is a heavy-duty, highly conformable tape for carpet installation applications as well as industrial holding and mounting, the attachment of printing plates to printing cylinders, and honeycomb milling.
- This tape is also suited for cushioning metal and glass against vibration. Permacel P-50 is sometimes referred to as double-coated or double-sided gaffers tape.
- Nitto (the old Permacel) P-50 Multi-Purpose Double-Coated Cloth Carpet Tape combines a heavy high-tack adhesive on both sides with an extremely durable cloth backing to provide excellent strength and superior conformability.
- Ideal for application on rough, irregular surfaces - on unfinished wood or concrete flooring. It also remains unaffected by oils commonly used in a variety of milling operations.
- Carrier/Backing: cotton cloth. Adhesive: rubber/resin. Release Liner: paper. Thickness: 19 mils (carrier, adhesive, liner) 15 mils (carrier, adhesive) 4 mils (liner). Adhesion: 106 ounces per inch (to stainless steel test panel). Tensile Strength: 44 pounds per inch (longitudinal). Elongation: 6%. Core: 3-inch diameter.
