Evans Tom-Tom Drumheads TT13EC2S Editorial Review

**** The Evans EC2 Level 360 drum heads receive commendations from drummers who find them to be an exceptional upgrade in sound quality and ease of tuning. Many users have particularly praised the perfect fit of the heads on the bearing edges, ensuring they sit securely and resonate well during play. The transition from other brands like Remo to the Evans EC2 has been described as transformative, with users noting an improvement in tonal clarity and reduction of unwanted overtones, making their drums resonate more fully. Drummers appreciate the Enhanced Level 360 collar that contributes to easier tuning, allowing them to achieve desirable sounds with less effort. Many users have found that the EC2 heads help in controlling excessive ringing, which leads to a more balanced sound, particularly in toms. Despite one user's note about the thickness of the heads, the overall reception remains overwhelmingly positive, with drummers affirming they would not revert to their previous head types. The EC2 drum heads have quickly been recognized as some of the best options currently available, with many users feeling they have found their ideal drum head thanks to Evans. The collective sentiment highlights a strong recommendation for those seeking quality and performance in their drum heads. **
