Hohner Harmonicas 560PBX-D Editorial Review
The Hohner Special 20 Harmonica has garnered an enthusiastic response from a varied range of musicians, particularly those serious about their craft. A professional keyboard player with extensive experience on the harp expressed deep satisfaction with the Special 20, particularly praising its sound, playability, and the quality of its Construction. The harmonica features a comfortable wooden comb that plays a significant role in the rich sound profile, striking the right balance between sweetness and projection. Users appreciate that the Special 20 requires minimal effort to play and facilitates advanced techniques such as bending. One customer praised its suitability for playing blues, while others noted its exceptional performance across different musical genres, especially when compared to other brands like Suzuki Bluesmaster. While some may find minor issues with aspects like spacing or loudness when testing alternatives, the overwhelming sentiment leans towards the Special 20 as a primary choice. Its reliability and the confidence it instills in performers have led to recommendations for beginners to invest in this quality instrument, asserting that the value aligns favorably with its performance. Additionally, this harmonica is deemed great for both novice and experienced players, as its Construction ensures durability, with many users confirming it lasts for years. The Special 20 has effectively transformed players' experiences, making it a favored addition to their gear, especially when seeking instruments in less common keys. **
