répondre: Denmark, I believe. -

How does the leak proof lid work?
répondre: Standard bodum cafetere with push down press top. It doesn't leak or drip when pouring. Cleaning is easy. -

Are these still made in Switzerland? Or China?
répondre: Look up the Bodum company on the internet. It states the company originated in Denmark and has since moved, in 1978, to Switzerland. -

Is this the double glass version?
répondre: I haven't seen the other version as this is my first proper coffee maker, but I can say it's worth the money and I got 2-3 servings in a tall glass. -

Would you say its white colour is actually an off-white or ivory tone? Thanks.
répondre: Off white or cream - definitely not pristine white. -

The holes in the filter look quite large - does this mean only coarse ground coffee should be used?
répondre: The mesh filter is quite good, I use ground coffee straight off the shelf from Tesco and it's fine.
